HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with the Amir of Kuwait HH Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah at the Dasman Palace in Kuwait yesterday.

At the outset of the meeting, HH The Emir and the Kuwaiti Amir exchanged greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They also discussed ways to support the well-established fraternal relations and the close ties between the two brotherly peoples and countries, reported Gulf Times.

HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of HH the Emir and a number of their excellences, ministers and sheikhs accompanying HH the Emir attended the meeting, according to Qatar Tribune.

On the Kuwaiti side, the meeting was attended by Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al Ghanim, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khaled Al Jarrah Al Sabah and a number of sheikhs and senior officials. 

HH the Emir also attended an Iftar banquet hosted by the Kuwaiti Amir in honour of and the visiting Qatari delegation at Dasman Palace. The Iftar was attended by the crown prince and top officials of Kuwait government.
