A Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is a document which is issued by the Criminal Evidence and Information Department (CEID), indicating if the applicant has any criminal record.
The PCC is generally required when traveling abroad, immigration, getting married, or when applying for a new position in a company.
This document becomes mandatory when establishing a company, organization, or a lawyer’s office. Moreover, you will be required to procure this document for veterinarian and independent school licenses and for the exchange of companies.
A PCC can be acquired rather easily as long as you have the documents required and has been simplified over the years with the introduction of the Metrash2 app.
