The fourth edition of Mahaseel Festival started on December 23 at Katara Cultural Village and was all set to run until December 28. However, due to popular demand, the festival has been extended till January 4, 2020.

The popular festival, aimed at supporting and promoting the agricultural and livestock sectors in Qatar, has been a massive hit in the past.

The market features Qatari farms selling various types of fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants. Local companies offering food products related to livestock, in addition to natural honey and the best varieties of local dates produced by Qatari farms.

You will also find delicious organic homemade sauces and exotic tea flavors.

Around 22 local farms, flower nurseries and six national companies for dairies and meat products will be participating in the Festival this year.

The Mahaseel Festival will run every day until January 4, 2020, and then continue every Friday and Saturday until March 31, 2020.

It is taking place at Katara’s southern area from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The festival also offers several entertainment and awareness activities for children and adults to enhance their experience.

For hassle-free travel, you can use Doha Metro’s Red Line to reach the festival. Take the metro ride from your nearby station to Al Qasser Station or Katara Station.
