Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Sabah is visiting different Gulf and Arab countries in a bid to solve the ongoing siege of Qatar.
The top official, will pay a visit to four Arab nations within a two day period, reported Gulf Times.
On Monday, the top diplomat visited Saudi Arabia and Egypt before going to the UAE and Oman on Tuesday, according to the official KUNA news agency. During the visits, he delivered letters from the Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah tackling ‘the latest developments on the regional and international levels, and issues of common interest.’
Egyptian presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said the letter discussed Kuwait’s efforts to deal with the crisis.
Kuwait has been at the forefront of mediation efforts ever since the crisis started.
