Her Excellency Lolwah bint Rashid Al-Khater, Spokesperson for the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, announced Qatar’s plans to ease coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions in four phases on June 8, 2020.

Based on the available public health data and COVID-19 spread indicators, including passing the peak, flattening the curve, and reducing the spread of the virus, the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management has decided to launch phase 2 of the gradual reopening plan on July 1, 2020, as initially planned.

Lusail Marina Promenade will reopen to the public from July 1, 2020, with its facilities; Crescent Park, and Lusail Marina Food Arena.

All visitors must adhere to the precautionary measures and social distancing guidelines.

Yesterday, Qatar announced the opening of all parks and beaches as well as the Corniche for people of all ages while continuing to practice social distancing. However, the play areas will remain closed.

Additionally, several restaurants inside the hotels across the country will reopen starting July 1. All the guests will require to show ‘Green Code’ on Ehteraz App at the entrance. The number of guests inside a restaurant will be restricted to 30 percent of its capacity and distance between the tables will be maintained. Prior reservation is recommended.

Here's everything you need to know about the virus, including ways to protect yourself.
