The Doha Metro & Lusail Tram has changed the way people travel in the country. After playing a vital role in moving hundreds of thousands of fans across the nation during the FIFA World Cup, more people have started using the services.

On Tuesday, officials announced that the Lusail Tram on the Orange Line will not work on May 26 and 27 (Friday and Saturday). It will instead be replaced by bus services. However, the Metroexpress will operate as normal, according to a tweet on its official Twitter handle.

Metroexpress bookings for Energy City South service area can be made to and from other Tram stations.

If you are visiting Lusail Boulevard, feel free to check out the Darb Lusail Flower Festival, which will run until Saturday.

The Lusail Tram played a vital role in helping fans move around during last year's FIFA World Cup. According to official numbers, the Lusail Tram carried 800,000 passengers during the tournament, at a daily rate of 27,000 people. Legtaifiya and Lusail Central were the network’s busiest stations during the period.
