The Ministry of Transport has announced the guidelines for operations and limitations of all e-bikes and e-scooter services in Doha during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. MoTC specified that all companies providing e-bike and e-scooter services must obtain a no-objection letter from the Ministry to continue operations.

The Ministry also defined the boundaries of areas where these services can be operated. Both these rules are in effect from November 1 till December 25, 2022.

The Ministry announced the same on their social media. The depictive maps shows that most areas of Central Doha including the pedestrianized Corniche along with areas in the proximity of the World Cup stadiums are temporarily restricted to e-bikes and e-scooters.
