If you thought Misturado Lounge was popular just for their spicy chicken wings and extended happy hours, you are mistaken! This restaurant bar is high on vibes and food options, making it one of the most visited hangout spots in Doha.

Getting a table at Misturado on a Thursday evening is almost impossible, but we have been coming here long enough to know that you have to show up by 4 p.m. to get a table of your choice.

We were immediately greeted by a hostess as soon as we entered, who showed us to our table. The vibe at Misturado was casual, cozy and relaxing yet there was a festive atmosphere. They have a resident DJ too now playing some great music at a comfortable volume.

The walls are decked out with huge screens for those interested in watching some sports. The screens were showing football, cricket and rugby games – there was something for everyone.

We decided to sit inside this time around, but they do have an outdoor area, perfect during the cooler winter months.

We have been coming to Misturado for a while and we knew their food and drinks menu inside out. We would always come back for their spicy chicken wings and bar-style fries, but this time we felt adventurous. We wanted to try something new and we were going to go all out.

We began our feast with one of their signature items – Nachos Con Carne. This hot plate of nachos came topped with chilli con, sour cream, guacamole and some tomato salso to dip. The nachos were crisp even with all those moist toppings.

In the meantime, we also ordered Picanha on a plate, the Brazilian Burger, shrimps sauteed in garlic and lastly, our favorite chicken wings. We had to get the chicken wings!

We were pleasantly overwhelmed by the picanha, which came with a side of fries. The beef slices were topped with tomato and corriander salsa. The tanginess of the salsa combined well with the tender and juicy slivers of beef. The quality of meat of outstanding and dish was presented well.

We devoured the burger in a matter of minutes. This burger is a serious burger. This burger packed a mixture of flavors from the onions, fried egg ,turkey bacon and crunchy iceberg lettuce between the toasted buns. It came with a generous serving of fries too.

The oven-baked chicken wings – crunchy but juicy – were delightful. It’s the kind of wings that can put a smile on your face. At the end of the evening, we were just blown away because it was extraordinary food in a casual surrounding. The hostesses always had a smile and are, without a doubt, the most attentive we have ever seen around Doha.

If you’re looking for a cozy and intimate hangout spot with friends, we definitely recommend Misturado Lounge. We’ll definitely be coming back for more chicken wings of course!
