The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has announced that winter camping for the 2020-2021 season ends on May 21, 2021.

The Ministry urges all owners of winter camps to promptly remove their tents and personal belongings and leave camping sites clean.

Moreover, camps that are still present after the aforementioned end date will be removed and the cost for the removal will be deducted from the security deposit.

The ministry has also explained that it will launch stage 3 of the campaign to remove encroachments on state property in accordance with Law No. 10 of 1987.

Stage 3 of the campaign will include Al Suwaihliya, Abu Sidra, Labsair, Al Sana, L'wayna, Khouzan, The South Area, Um Jassim, Athba, Um Baraka, Samsama, South M'iether and Um Al Afa'i.

With the interest of the public in mind, the ministry urges everyone to cooperate during the course of the campaign.
