Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) announced the administrative closure of a car dealership in The Pearl for violating consumer protection laws. The action was taken against United Cars Almana, located in the Pearl, for a period of one month.

According to the statement, the closure was a result of the dealership’s failure to adhere to the provisions of Article No. 16 of Law No. (8) of 2008 on Consumer Protection.

The violations cited includes failure to provide spare parts and delay in providing after-sales services.

The Administrative decision, numbered 25/2025, reflects the Ministry’s commitment to holding companies accountable and protecting consumer rights in the Qatari market.

The Ministry, through the action, served a reminder to all businesses operating in Qatar to comply with the country’s consumer protection laws. The Ministry also urged consumers with complaints or inquiries to contact the Consumer Protection Center at 16001.
