The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has clarified on their Twitter handle about the clarification on administering booster doses for Covid-19 recovered patients. The Ministry recommends that individuals who were infected during the Omicron waves are eligible for vaccination after completing three months from the date of infection.

However, those who want to take their dose even a month after infection are also safely permitted to do so, the Ministry said. A minimum of one-month period is necessary to allow the infected body to fully recover from infection, in order to be administered again.
So far, 5,777,396 vaccination doses have been administered in Qatar of which 780,609 are booster doses. MoPH has also confirmed that nearly 86.9% of the population in Qatar has been vaccinated with two doses. The Ministry and the government are encouraging the public to adhere to safety precaution measures while prioritizing their vaccination dosage at the earliest.
The Covid-19 booster doses and all other vaccination doses are being administered at all 28 Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs) along with the Qatar Vaccination Center (QVC) at Bu Garn and the drive-in at Lusail city. Businesses can request for their workers and employees to be vaccinated by emailing QVC@hamad.qa
