University Expo (UniExpo) 2019 is all set to open on October 16.

Aimed at students aged 16+, their parents, school counselors, principals, and career advisors, as well as professionals looking to further advance their academic credentials, UniExpo will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre and will run until October 17.

This year's edition will see inspirational seminars, by local and international speakers, on academic paths and career selection for students and provide them with pertinent information that could help them make wise decisions for their future.  

It will also serve as a platform for professionals who would like to pursue their executive education by joining prestigious postgraduate courses.

Alan Kelly, Commercial Director, Informa Tharawat, said: “We are very excited to be running the ninth edition of UniExpo Qatar, it is the only event in Qatar that brings together such a large number of educational institutions.”

“The event is a unique platform for high school students and their parents to prepare them for a new phase of their life. Through one-on-one interactions with university representatives from all around the world, our visitors get all the information they need that is related to their tertiary education such as life as a student, scholarship programs, managing finances and studying abroad,” he added.

More than 100 leading universities and education providers from around the world including some of Qatar's top universities such as: Community College Qatar, Doha Institute of Graduate Studies, College of North Atlantic, Qatar Foundation, Education City Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, HEC Paris in Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University Qatar and Qatar University will take part in the event.

Over fifteen countries will also be represented including the USA, France, UK, Malaysia, Italy, India, Lebanon, Netherlands, Qatar, Oman, Turkey, and North Cyprus.

International universities joining the University Expo Qatar include the University of Aberdeen, Wright State University, Virginia Tech, Swansea University, Middlesex University, Durham University, and the Lebanese American University, among others.

In its ninth year, UniExpo is proud to have Qatar Chamber as its strategic Partner, Akhlaquna as a silver exhibitor, and The Great Indian Education Fair as the Indian Partner.

The University Expo Qatar will take place from 8 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm on both days, in Hall 5 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
