The second edition of the popular Pakistani Mango Festival is set to return to the Souq Waqif on Thursday, showcasing some of the best varieties of mangoes grown in Pakistan.

The festival, jointly organized by the Souq Waqif management and Embassy of Pakistan in Qatar, will run from July 10 to July 19 at the Souq Waqif’s Eastern Square.

Mango varieties including Sindhri, Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol and Langra will be on sale at the Souq Waqif. In addition to fresh mangoes, visitors can also expect a range of mango-based products like juices, desserts, pickles, and jams.

Organisers have invited the public to visit the exhibition and experience the best Pakistan has to offer.

The festival will run every day from 4pm to 9pm, with it being extended to 10pm on official holidays.

The festival’s inaugural edition, held at the same venue last year, had been met with a lot of enthusiasm. As per official figures, the event saw sales of 25,929kg of mangoes and mango products.

Last year’s festival had also featured cultural performances, live cooking demonstrations, and interactive activities for children, adding to the lively atmosphere. Building on the success, organizers are expecting even more vendors and expanded product offerings this time around.
