With 4 days to go for the National Day, here are some facts about the Pearl-Qatar!

The Pearl-Qatar, we all know is the most luxurious and sought after place in Qatar. Also, it remains as the only area where foreigners could invest in real estate in Qatar.

This artificial island that spans nearly 4 million square metres, is built on one of Qatar’s famous pearl diving spots and hence the island was named as “Pearl-Qatar”. Also, once completed, the “Pearl-Qatar” will even resemble a string of pearls.

The Pearl-Qatar is definitely a must-visit place in Qatar. Along with its range of restaurants and well-known luxury brands, the island also has a “Venice like community” called Qanat Quartier.

The Qanat Quartier also contains of an extensive canal system, pedestrian-friendly squares and plazas and beachfront townhouses.
