The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced that it will soon launch a new website under its plan to develop and digitize its services.

The new website also seeks to provide easy access to information and data related to the health care system in Qatar.

According to PHCC, the launch of the new website follows from the state’s directives to digitize services.

With this focus, PHCC has created and updated online content that echoes Qatar’s ambitious vision toward primary health care, highlighting the efforts made to improve the health system in the country, and providing most of the services online.

The new website will also complement the National Health Strategy with an emphasis on population health and integrated care.

It will do so by keeping up with the rapid progress in the area of primary health care in Qatar, improving effective communication mechanisms with the public as well as through the enhanced use of information technology in health support.

PHCC’s new website seeks to offer quick, easy access to the most recent information about PHCC services, health centers, doctors’ data, events, among others.

It will also work to advance public health awareness across society.

The Corporation has taken into account the highest and best digital standards in developing the site and its content, the PHCC statement said.

The launch of the website adds to Qatar's digitization efforts in recent years that have aimed to enhance ease of access and convenience to the public, among other things.
