Power Slap to Hold Its First Live Event in Doha on November 19

Power Slap is set to stage its first live event in Doha, Qatar, with Power Slap 27: Quinones vs. Godfrey taking place at Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena (ABHA Arena) on Thursday, November 19, 2026.

The event, presented by Monster Energy and held in partnership with Visit Qatar, marks Power Slap's Doha debut as the promotion continues its international expansion. The event will also take place during the same weekend as UFC Fight Night in Doha, adding another major combat sports event to the city's calendar.

Two Title Fights to Headline Power Slap 27

The main event will feature a middleweight title clash between reigning champion Isaih "Puerto Rican Pretty Boy" Quinones and undefeated No. 1-ranked contender Darren "Tarantula" Godfrey of England.

Quinones enters the contest with a 6-3 record and six knockouts, while Godfrey holds an unbeaten 5-0 record with one no contest. Quinones has held the middleweight title for more than a year, while Godfrey will be looking to claim the championship and take the belt back to England.

The co-main event will see undefeated lightweight champion Robert "Real Deal" Trujillo defend his title for the third time against No. 1-ranked lightweight contender Bryan "Baby Yoda" Scambler.

Trujillo holds a 7-0 record with five knockouts, while Scambler is 3-0 with two knockouts after winning all three of his Power Slap matches in 2026.

Power Slap Makes Its Doha Debut

Power Slap describes the November event as its first live event in Doha. The promotion, founded by Dana White in partnership with Ultimate Fighting Championship, features regulated head-to-head slap-fighting matches under an established ruleset and official supervision.

Visit Qatar describes Power Slap as a regulated competition featuring elite athletes, with competitors taking turns delivering and receiving open-handed strikes under defined rules and safety regulations.

Frank Lamicella, CEO of Thrill Sports & Power Slap, said the partnership with Visit Qatar would bring the event to audiences in Qatar, the wider region and combat sports fans around the world, while describing Doha as a destination for fight fans as Power Slap continues to expand into new markets.

Live From Doha

Power Slap 27 will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2026 at Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena (ABHA Arena) in Al Rayyan.

The event will also be streamed live and free to a global audience through Power Slap's official YouTube channel.

The remainder of the Power Slap 27 card, along with ticket information and further event details, will be announced at a later date.
