Qatar Petroleum has increased the price of premium grade petrol for the month of October, following four months of the price being kept stable.
According to the list issued by Qatar Petroleum today, the price of premium grade petrol will increase from 1st October, but that of super grade petrol and diesel will remain as it was in September.

Premium grade petrol will be 5 dirhams more expensive at QAR 2.05 per litre, and super will cost QAR 2.10 per litre.
The cost of diesel will remain the same at QAR 2.05 per litre, as it has in the last four months.

Since April 2016, the Ministry of Energy and Industry has been pegging the fuel prices to the international market.
The hike in prices is visible, as when the first list was announced in June 2016 premium petrol was QAR 1.20 per litre, super was QAR 1.30 per litre and diesel was QAR 1.40 per litre.
