Passengers traveling via Qatar Airways from specific airports in some countries will be required to present a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result when checking in, the airline stated on its website.

- Bangladesh

- Brazil

- Iran

- Iraq

- Pakistan

- Philippines

- Sri Lanka

Once QA resumes its services to the following countries, passengers traveling from these countries will also be required to showcase the negative test result:

- India

- Nepal

- Nigeria

- Russia

Tests must be issued within 72 hours before departure, from laboratories that are approved by QA. They must be paid for by the passengers.

"Those that do not have a copy of their medical test certificate alongside a consent form will not be permitted to travel on Qatar Airways flights," the airline stated.

This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 12 years if they are accompanied by family members that have presented a negative test result.
