People staying back in the country for Eid holidays should be careful as they venture outdoors today.

Qatar’s Metrological Department has warned that temperatures in the country are set to touch 43°C today. The minimum temperature expected today is 32°C.

Today’s detailed forecast says it will be misty at places during the early morning, becoming hot in the daytime with slight dust at times and some clouds. It is expected to be really humid by night.

Inshore, northwesterly-northeasterly winds are expected with speeds between five to 15 knots. The winds will reach up to 19 knots at places by afternoon. 

Offshore, the winds will blow in the northwesterly direction, with varying speeds of three to 13 knots. At times, the winds will reach 18 knots speed.

The maximum temperature recorded in Qatar yesterday was 46°C at Turayna and minimum of 28°C at Al Khor.
