People in Qatar recently experienced rains in different parts of the country. There are chances for more downpours from today until the end of the week, said the Qatar Meteorology Department (QD).

“Weather conditions in the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy from today, November 8, until the weekend,” the QMD said in a tweet on Wednesday.

“The rains will be of varying intensity and will be thundery at times, accompanied by sudden strong winds,” it added.

The QMD has not issued any marine warnings as of Wednesday, November 8, but urged citizens and residents to take precautions and follow safety guidelines in the event of thunderstorms during this period.
