The rain gods may finally start to smile on Qatar from Tuesday.

Qatar’s weather office has said the country can expect to receive light rain starting tomorrow, with its intensity increasing significantly in the coming weekend.

The Qatar Met department said numerical weather prediction charts continued to indicate that a “state of atmospheric instability” was expected to affect the country due to the “extension of an upper-level low pressure system” from Tuesday until the end of this month, reported Gulf Times.

While rainfall will be light on Tuesday and Wednesday, it is expected to increase significantly starting Thursday (November 24). One can expect thundery rain.

Those who are going to sea should also be careful as waves are expected to gain heights of seven to 13ft. It is better to avoid activities at sea during this period.
