The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced that Qatar is set to re-open its visa centers (QVCs) in three more countries this month.

In an announcement on its official Twitter page, MoI revealed that the following centers will reopen in the coming days:

1. Nepal - Khatmandu on December 10, 2020

2. Pakistan - Islamabad on December 14, 2020

3. Philippines - Manila on December 15, 2020

The Ministry confirmed that the booking for appointments has already started and can be done through the QVC website: https://www.qatarvisacenter.com/

Last month, MoI announced the reopening of QVCs in India.

The QVCs in various countries including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Nepal aim to ease and simply recruitment procedures for foreign workers coming to Qatar.

Recently, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) had also announced that it would resume the process of issuing labor recruitment approvals.

The process was put on hold temporarily in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, according to the MADLSA announcement, this service was re-activated from November 15, 2020.
