Starting from this Friday, Qatar is expected to be affected by a gradual increase in temperature that will reach its peak on Monday where the maximum temperature is expected to reach 39ºC.

This is due to an extension of the Sudan thermal low over the gulf areas, associated with southeasterly to southwesterly light to moderate winds that might freshen during noon time.

A chance of some blowing sand is possible, which will cause a relative decrease in visibility to 3 km or less in areas.

As of Monday evening, and with the weakening of the low pressure, an extension of the high pressure is expected to affect the area from the northwest of Saudi towards the Gulf.

That in turn will lead to northwesterly winds fresh to strong in speed , and will cause a decrease in the visibility to less than 3 km due to dust and blowing dust , and this phenomena is expected to last till the end of the week. [Qweather]
