Tonight marks the first appearance of the Al Na’ayim star, a seasonal astronomical event traditionally associated with a noticeable drop in temperatures across Qatar. The star is expected to remain visible in the sky for 13 days, signalling a period of colder weather, especially during nighttime and early morning hours.

The rise of Al Na’ayim is known for bringing intense cold conditions, with residents likely to feel a sharper chill after sunset and before sunrise. During this period, meteorological conditions typically include an increase in fog and cloud formation, which may affect visibility, particularly in the early mornings.

There are also chances of rainfall, especially around the middle phase of the star’s rise. Residents are advised to stay prepared for fluctuating weather conditions, take extra care while driving during foggy hours, and dress warmly during the colder parts of the day.
