Qatari traveller Khalid Al Jaber is all set to embark on a motorcycle adventure ride which will begin at the highest point in North America and end at the far south of South America, reported Gulf Times.

The bike ride, which will last over 43,000km from Alaska to Argentina, will pass through 15 countries in the Americas. The adventure trip, titled ‘Between the Poles,’ will begin near the Arctic and ends near the South Pole.

The route which Al Jaber will travel is considered the longest land track on Earth, where he will pass through nine time zones during the trip.

Beginning from Alaska on July 19, the journey will take five months and will pass through Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.

“Many thanks for all supporters contributors and partners for this trip,” Al Jaber said in a tweet, announcing the trip.
