The 'Eidiah ATM' service, which was launched by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) last April on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, had proved to be an enormous hit.

Many people commented positively about the move, which was done in order to revive Qatari culture and traditions, particularly the practice of Eidi — usually money or gift given to children.

The programme has been so successful that the QCB announced an extension of the 'Eidiah ATM' service on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha.

The Eidiah ATM will allow users to withdraw Qatari riyals in QR5, QR10, and QR50 and QR100 denominations.

The service will be available beginning June 22 and will be accessible at 10 locations — Place Vandome Mall, Al Mirqab Mall, Mall of Qatar, Al Wakrah Old Souq, Doha Festival City, Al Hazm Mall, Al Khor Mall, Al Meera (Thumama and Muaither) and Doha West Walk.
