It’s the 21st century and all of us are hustling every day to achieve our dreams and goals.  In the bargain, we all tend to live fast lives and forget to take a break; which is very vital for our health as well as our productivity to stay intact. We all need a break once in a while. This time, take a break from cooking your own meals and head over to the Marina Food Arena.

The Lusail Marina Food Arena is a drive-in or drive-through concept and offers visitors a wide range of eateries and cafés, juice stalls, burger joints and other fast food! It is open to everyone whether you choose to go there with your own vehicle or the Doha metro.

How to get here via Doha Metro?

If you are on the green line, drop off at Msheireb station and enter the red line.

The people on the gold line can hop off at the Msheireb station and enter the red line as well.

Once you are on the red line, get off at Legtaifiya station and take the tram right up to the Yacht club. You will now have reached Marina Food Arena.

Unlike other drive-thru’s, this one has food trucks and food joints that offer limited seating as well. So if you feel like dining-in, you are more than welcome.

Here’s some of the eateries that have seating:

1) La Churro Ria

This food joint is one of the first ones you will see as you enter the food arena. It gives off a very welcoming and calm vibe. Their best-selling dishes are Churros De Rueda, Churros Sticks, Churros De Chocolate and Assorted Churros Rellenos. Staying true to the christmas-y vibe of it, the Christmas tree at the entrance truly sets the mood. The friendly staff with their gracious recommendations make this entire experience a true festive celebration.

2) Abocado

This food truck as you can see is designed in a very unique manner by combining two yellow school buses, one above the other in opposite fashion. A mexican food joint that is bound to tingle those taste buds, we couldn’t help but drive in and have a few recommendations for you. Starting from the chicken quesadilla, guacamole, chicken burrito, nachos and finally the chicken tacos, this Mexican state of mind couldn’t be enough! A true ode to Mexican cuisine with their traditional menu, we also recommend this place for people who haven't tasted Mexican before, you’re going to absolutely love it here.

3) Tamy’s Cookies

Cookies that taste heavenly and are the ultimate favourite go to would be at Tamy’s. They offer a variety of flavors namely, Caramel, Classic, Double chocolate, Expresso beans, Galaxy, Kinder, Nutella, Oreo, Pistachio and much more. This cute joint even serves cakes, ice cream and beverages. You can even enjoy a little break here with their nice seating arrangement that is hardly congested by other surrounding eateries.

4) Mood Coffee Bar & Bakery 

True to its name, Mood delivers a  very calm and soothing experience to its customers. Whenever you are at Mood, all your worries just seem to float away due to its tranquil ambience. They also have a well placed seating area which is in tune with the café’s name. Their best-selling dishes are Mood Label, American Coffee and Mood Rose, although they have a variety of dishes and meals to choose from, like Mood Drinks, Hot Drinks and Mood Drinks.

5) Ink Café

Hello, instagram, we’ve arrived! This is a Korean inspired black and white Café that gives out an optical illusion. Given the fun-filled design and delightful use of optical illusion, it’s no wonder why this café has quickly become very famous around the country. Their best-selling dishes can easily be their chocolate cookies, French toast, pepperoni pizza and chocolate brownies. QL absolutely enjoyed their time here and is reminiscent of the mouth-watering dishes as well as the interiors of this place. It almost felt like being on the sets of one of those Disney movies.

After you've enjoyed your favorite food and drinks, you can stroll along the Lusail Marina Promenade, walk or go cycling there. There are electric scooters that you can rent there as well. Take a drive around Lusail City and have a look at all the new and upcoming buildings too!
