Qatar’s Department of Meteorology has issued a strong wind warning for Tuesday, May 6.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Department said it expected the country to be affected by northwesterly winds, ranging from fresh to strong, starting Tuesday, and continuing until the end of the week.

It added that these winds may cause dust to rise and impede horizontal visibility in some areas of Qatar. Marine warnings would remain in effect during this period.
