The Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) held its third sectoral meeting with charitable associations and private charitable foundations.
The meeting aims to activate general and specialized teams tasked with implementing initiatives under the 2025–2030 Charitable and Humanitarian Sector Strategy, strengthen coordination, and define responsibilities.
The first day reviewed progress since November, nominations for team membership, and proposed team structures and responsibilities.
The second day will focus on the task matrix, priority quick-win initiatives, implementation responsibilities, and the annual sector report.
RACA's Director of the Planning and Quality Department, Ashwaq Abdullah Al Aji, said the meeting reflects participants' commitment to translating strategic objectives into practical initiatives, with teams playing a key role in coordination, monitoring progress, and measuring sustainable impact.
Strategic Planning Researcher at RACA, Amna Al Ansari said the meeting brings charitable organizations together to discuss initiatives, opportunities, and challenges.
Assistant Secretary-General for Volunteering and Local Development at Qatar Red Crescent Society, Hussein Aman Al Ali said work is underway to establish mechanisms and schedules to turn initiatives into tangible results.
The meeting reflects RACA's commitment to strengthening partnerships, improving joint efforts, and advancing the sector's humanitarian impact in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
