It is now optional for citizens and residents of Qatar to pre-register on Ehteraz when traveling to Qatar.
In a tweet this evening, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said, "To ease the precautionary measures previously announced for those entering Qatar, MOPH announced that registration on Ehteraz Platform is now optional for citizens and residents, while registration and obtaining prior approval remains mandatory for visitors."

Last week, MoPH had announced some changes to Qatar's travel policy, making it mandatory for all passengers traveling to the country from all ports to pre-register on the Ehteraz website. Passengers are asked to attach all relevant documentation for a period of at least 12 hours before arrival.
This requirement has been in effect since yesterday, July 12, 2021.
There is no need for quarantine for Qatari citizens and residents, including GCC citizens, who are currently QID holders if they have been fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine or have been diagnosed and recovered from COVID-19 (within 9 months) in Qatar or other GCC member states provided they have received at least 1 dose of any MOPH-Qatar recognized vaccine.
