Safari Hypermarket is opening its ninth outlet in Qatar in Sheehaniya today, August 27, as the retailer continues expanding its presence across the country.
One of the main features of the new outlet is that it will operate 24 hours a day, providing round-the-clock access for residents of Sheehaniya and surrounding areas.
The branch will offer fresh food, groceries, fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, alongside bakery and hot food counters, cosmetics, ready-made garments, electronics, stationery and other product categories.
Safari's popular "Visit & Win" promotion has also been extended to the new Sheehaniya outlet.
Visitors can receive a free coupon without making a purchase for the chance to win one of two 2025 Chevrolet Captiva cars.
The promotion runs from August 3 to November 4, 2026. The first draw will take place on September 17 at Safari's Logistics Village outlet, while the second will be held on November 5 at the new Sheehaniya branch.
Safari is also marking the opening with promotional offers and events.
Safari Group Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Zainul Abideen said the Sheehaniya outlet forms part of the group's expansion strategy to make its services more accessible to customers across Qatar.
The group, which opened its first Safari Hypermarket on Salwa Road on May 5, 2005, has also indicated that further outlets are expected to open in the future.
