Talks about creating a train link between Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been officiated in the recent visit by His Highness Eng, Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistic Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting, which was held at the Ministry headquarters, discussed the logistics and aspects of cooperation in various modes of transportation such as ports, railways, and civil aviation. H E Jassim Said Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport Qatar, along with the Saudi Minister of Transport, also visited the Doha Metro to inspect and be briefed by Qatar Rails representatives.

The meeting was attended by Ministry officials, Qatari transportation industry representatives, Chairman of the Transport General Authority of Saudi Arabia Dr. Rumaih Mohammed Al Rumaih, and members of the delegation accompanying Minister Al Jasser. Chairman of the Transport General Authority of Saudi Arabia Dr. Rumaih Mohammed Al Rumaih participated in the tour.
