The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) stated that the educational and administrative staff, and children of age 12 and above at schools and kindergartens who have yet to be fully vaccinated or have not taken the COVID-19 vaccine will undergo a Rapid Antigen or PCR examination this week.
The announcement was made by the Ministry via its Twitter account, highlighting that Rapid Antigen and PCR tests approved by the Ministry of Public Health will take place inside schools starting today.

Moreover, the decision to conduct the COVID-19 examination is coherent with MoEHE’s announcement last week, stating that all educational institutions will return to study with full attendance of students at 100 percent of the approved capacity of the school building.
MoEHE pointed out that those who have recovered from the virus are excluded from the examination procedure.
Furthermore, the Qatari Cabinet also announced a series of decisions set to take effect from Sunday, under the country's gradual lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions plan.
