We are just a few days away from Qatar National Day (QND), one of the most special occasions in the country, celebrated with immense national pride and unmatched zeal by citizens and residents alike.

In a tweet, the Organizing Committee unveiled the slogan for Qatar National Day 2020.

Slogan:

It is is another verse from a poem written by the founder of the modern state of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani.

Qatar National Day 2019 was marked under the slogan 'Al Maali Kaydah,' which means "supremacy is hard to reach."

The slogan was inspired by a poem by Qatar's founder Sheikh Jassim describing his son Sheikh Ali bin Jassim (Joaan) and gives a clear picture of a whole generation of Qatari youth in the founding period.

The Organizing Committee previously announced that no Darb Al Saai activities will be held on Qatar National Day this year. The decision has been made considering the current circumstances pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, Qatar National Library has something for everyone this month as it celebrates Qatar National Day with its biggest-ever roll call of lectures, discussions, and interactive forums.
