If you are a fashion aficionado, then there is a chance that a visit to the Mall of Qatar will make you really happy.

This is because the 10-day Spring/Summer Fashion Festival, a first-of-its-kind event at the Mall of Qatar, is in full flow and it is attracting a lot of visitors, according to Gulf Times.      

On Friday, the second day of the fashion event, 10 international models displayed specially designed garments showcasing the collections of renowned fashion brand Vero Moda.

“It’s the second day of the Spring-Summer fashion festival at Mall of Qatar and lot of people have come to watch the event. We’ve three shows daily and it’s encouraging to see large number of people attending the event. The retailers in the mall as well as international designers are taking part in the programme,” Mall of Qatar’s public relations and events manager Patrick Hage-Chahine told Gulf Times.

Award-winning Spanish fashion designer Alejandro Resta had displayed his stunning creations on the opening day of the event, reported The peninsula.

He showcased 10 looks comprising demi-couture designs celebrating spring and summer with their delicate floral designs exuding the feel of the seasons.

The mall will host three fashion shows per day dedicated to women’s, men’s, and children’s collections along with a variety of interactive and fashion focused activities.

In addition to fashion shows, there will also be free make up tutorials and free professional pictures taken in all parts of the mall. There will also be seminars on makeup and photography.

The fashion shows will feature collections from Vero Moda, Kocca, River Island, Stradivarius, Levis, Armani Exchange, Sacoor Brothers, Mayoral, Giordano, Babycare, Buggati, Salsa, TopShop, Nocturne, Roman, Choice, Scalpers, LC Waikiki, and Lefties.

The festival will also host a number of activities in different rotundas, including a children’s mini catwalk, a make-up tutorial booth and women’s wear, menswear and children’s clothing throughout the mall.
