Qatar is expected to be affected by high pressure coming from the northwest of Saudi Arabia, starting Wednesday till Saturday.
This will be associated with northwesterly fresh to strong wind, with speed ranging between 12-22 knots up to 28 knots at times. Wind speeds will reache 35 knots in the sea, which will cause increase in wave heights of up to 6-9/13 feet, with scattered clouds in the sky.
With fresh northwesterly winds, there will be a chance of blowing dust that might occur over the open areas and highways. This may result in a decrease in horizontal visibility.
There will be a drop od 2-4ºC in temperature, the maximum temperature will be between 23 and 25ºC in the city of Doha.
The minimum will be 14–17ºC, which would be further lower over the southern parts of the country. The night and early morning weather will be cooler due to fresh winds. [Qatar Met Department]
