Talabat, the region’s leading food and grocery delivery app, is offering organizations more ways to reduce the financial strain on employees during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, through partnering with the platform.
The partnership will enable organizations’ employees to benefit from more free delivery options for restaurants and shops, as well as employee offers.
The partnership, which is completely free for organizations and open to every organization in Qatar, currently already offers benefits to more than 40,000 employees in Doha, Al Wakrah and Al Khor.
Companies such as Qatar Airways and Qatar Petroleum have already joined. Initially, partnerships will run until the end of June.
Francisco De Souza, Managing Director of Talabat Qatar, believes that it is Talabat’s duty to help to make food delivery more affordable for consumers throughout the country during the COVID-19 challenge.
'We understand consumers are struggling. We’re all in this together. By partnering with organizations, and utilizing their channels - it gives us the ability to be able to reach a huge cross-section of the population, which in turn allows us to pass on greater affordability.'
'The safety of our customers has been a top priority for Talabat, especially during COVID-19. While we initially started with safety in terms of physical safety and were the first to introduce contactless delivery, as well as gloves, masks and sanitizer, we also introduced location-based free delivery, to help ease the financial burden.
'This partnership goes one step further to help ensure that as much of the working population of Qatar can benefit from these offers.
Any organization interested in the partnership can directly submit their interest using this link, after which a Talabat representative will be touch to proceed with the respective steps.
Customers can download the Talabat App via the App Store or Google Play.
