The temperature in Qatar is expected to increase sharply in the coming two days and could exceed mid-40°C levels in Doha and most parts of the country, according to the country’s Met Department.
It has also advised people to avoid direct exposure to sunlight, for risk of getting sunburn, reported Gulf Times.

The maximum temperature is likely to be 47°C in Al Wakrah and Mesaieed today, followed by 46°C in Doha and 45°C in Al Khor.

Besides a hot daytime, the detailed forecast says strong winds are expected in most areas today along with slight to blowing dust and poor visibility in some places.
The weather office has also issued a marine warning for windy conditions and high seas.
The wind speed may go up to 32 knots inshore and 25 knots offshore at times, with visibility dropping to 2km or less in some places and the sea level rising to 7ft.
