1. Festival of Culture: Exhibition and Bazaar

Dates: February 16, 2019

Timings: 11:00 am to 07:00 pm

Where: Al Fayrouz Ballroom at Doha Marriott Hotel.

Entry: Entry free for all.

The Festival of Culture is set to take place on February 16, 2019 from 11:00 am to 07:00 pm in Al Fayrouz Ballroom at Doha Marriott Hotel.

Exhibits ranging from paintings, handicrafts, jewelries, fashion wears, designer ornaments from all over the world will definitely ignite your passion for art and crafts. If you’re looking for significant or customized presents for your precious ones, the festival offers a huge range of products for all the age groups.

You can also enjoy with your friends and family as there will be a wide range of activities such as calligraphy workshops, face painting, raffle draws etc.

The festival aims to provide a platform to the exhibits and to bridge different cultures while providing a harmonious multicultural environment.

2. Hyatt Plaza Mall

Dates: until February 16, 2019

Timings: Thursday & Saturday – 12 pm to 11 pm, Friday – 2 pm to 11 pm

Where: Hyatt Plaza Mall

Entry:  Spend QAR 25 in any retail outlets and get free entry

Head to Hyatt Plaza Mall this weekend with your family and enjoy shopping and dining while your kids get busy at the play area. Hyatt Plaza Mall offers varities of indoor activities for kids, including football, table tennis, foosball, arcade games, billiards, and a mini karting track.

3. Qatar Total Open 2019

Dates: February 11-16,2019

Timings: 12:00 pm to 09:00 pm

Where: Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex

Entry: Ticket price starting from QAR 25

Qatar Total Open 2019 started on February 11 and will run until February 16 at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex. The event is sponsored by Qatar Airways and Qatar Duty Free (QDF).

Join in for a fun filled day with your friends or family.

4. Al Dasha Festival Marine Sports

Dates: February 12-15, 2019

Where: Corniche

Entry:  Entry free for all

Al Dasha Marine Sports Festival kicked off on Tuesday, February 12 and will run until February 15. The festival is showcasing traditional sailing, traditional rowing, aqua bike races, and modern sailing. There will also be an array of activities for everyone including kayak, hydrobike, hobie cat, and fitness sessions.

5. Entertainment World Village

Dates: February 14-16

Timings: Thursday - 4pm - 12am, Friday and Saturday - 3 pm to 12 am

Where: Entertainment World Village, Doha, Qatar

Entry: General Entry - QR15

At Entertainment World Village's Doha Festival, enjoy thrilling rides in the amusement park from Freij World, explore international pavilions, and witness the magic of the circus and the awesome Jurassic Park.

If you're feeling hungry, stop by one of the restaurants on the beach and enjoy some mouthwatering cuisine.

6. Torba Farmers Market

Dates: runs until April 2019

Timings: 7.30am - 11.30am and from 12.30pm - 5pm on Fridays and 8am - 6pm on Saturdays.

Where: Education City

Entry: Entry free for all

Torba farmers market takes place at Qatar Foundation’s Ceremonial Court every Fridays and Saturdays.

The name ‘Torba’ is derived from Arabic, and means “the pure soil that feeds, nourishes, and nurtures.” A wide-range of fresh, locally-grown items being offered in the market.

Visitors will find organic fruits and vegetables, homemade preserves, syrups, and butters, as well as handicrafts and gardening supplies. There are freshly made juices and varieties of delicious local dishes to try on.

The market has succeeded in enhancing awareness of the way in which farm produce is grown, sold, and consumed in Qatar.

The aim of the market is to promote organic, homegrown produce in a bid to create healthier, more active communities.

Biryani Festival 2019

Dates: February 20 to March 2

Timings: 04:00 pm to 12:00 am

Where: Al Bidda Park

Entry: Entry free for all.

The one dish that everyone unanimously loves indulging in is the mouth-watering Biryani. So foodies, get ready to tantalize your taste buds as the Biryani Festival is back with its second edition.

The most flavorful festival is set to take place from February 20 until March 2, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am at Al Bidda Park, eleven days when the fragrance of biryani will linger in the air.

Visitors will be able to taste and appreciate more than 100 types of distinct Biryanis. Some of the well-known favorites will be present including, but not limited to, mughlai, lucknow gosht, kashmiri vegetable, mussels, prawns, hara macchi, egg, harkmas (beef), malabar chicken, mattanjery chicken, kayikka’s beef, thalassery mutton, the traditional Afghani and Irani. 

Do keep some cold drinks handy as those seeking a spicier experience may find their palates on fire.

Kanan Gill special Teetar - Live in Qatar 2019

Dates: February 21

Timings: 05:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Where: Regency Halls

After a series of sold-out shows, one of India’s most followed Comedians, Kanan Gill is coming to Doha with his stand-up special ‘TEETAR’ on February 21!

The Desi Laughter Nights 2019 is hosted by Millennium Entertainment. 

Kanan Gill is an Indian stand-up comedian and YouTuber who rose to fame with the YouTube series, ‘Pretentious Movie Reviews’ where he reviews flawed yesteryear Bollywood films in a hilarious manner.

Kanan Gill’s latest special, ‘Teetar’ is a personal, observational and deeply stupid follow up to 2017’s Keep It Real. In this hilarious one hour show he juggles ideas from Julius Caesar’s death to marching to bands and his building societies. The show will also explain what ‘Teetar’ means.

There will be a series of exciting and entertaining comics from India.

A three hour laugh-A-thon which is sure to keep your funny bone tickling. So gear up as Desi Laughter Nights 2019 is just around the corner!
