If you looking out for a much-needed vacation, then you should seriously give a thought to going to the beautiful islands of Bali.

And with the announcement of a third direct Qatar Airways flight to Bali’s capital Denpasar (starting May 7), your travelling also just got a lot simpler. The three daily flights will all operate non-stop. All three flights will originate at the Hamad International Airport, reported Gulf Times.

Bali has always been a popular destination among Qatari travellers. Qatar Airways started offering its first direct service in 2014, later enhancing this to a twice daily frequency. Prior to this, Qatar Airways had served the destination via a touchdown in Singapore.

“The start of triple daily non-stop services from Doha to Bali Denpasar offers passengers from our global network even greater access to this popular leisure destination with smooth international transfers and a variety of times to suit their own schedules.

“We’re delighted to confirm that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will operate the third frequency on this route, offering the very latest in design and comfort to passengers, complemented by our other wide body aircraft, the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A330,” The Peninsula quoted Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker as saying.

The new direct flight will operate with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It will have a two-cabin configuration, comprising 22 seats in Business Class and 232 in Economy with a “high standard of comfort on board.” There will be individual 10.5in television screens on all Economy Class seats and a full complimentary food and beverage service.

The schedule of the new daily direct flight (May 7 to October 28) is as follows: QR964 departing Doha at 5.45pm and arriving in Bali Denpasar at 8.10am (+1), and QR965 departing Bali Denpasar at 9.30am and arriving in Doha at 2.05pm.
