Every day this Ramadan, from sunset until 9:00 pm, Mövenpick Aziziyah’s sumptuous Iftar buffet is being served, and we were lucky enough to enjoy every last bite of it when we visited on the first evening of the month.
A lavish Iftar buffet features an extensive range of authentic Arabic delights, finest international treats, live cooking stations and traditional Ramadan juices. The ambience is warm, welcoming and Arabesque, with a lively comfortable atmosphere.

At the buffet, we especially loved the vine leaves, which were the perfect balance of savoury and salty without being too sour or soft. A wide range of salad and vegetarian options accompanied the meat dishes, which was cooked to perfection, well seasoned and tender.
Every day the extensive buffet menu offers a special station with an indulgent selection of culinary delights from across the Middle East. The food options change daily, and a special buffet corner is set up to feature dishes on respective days from Lebanon, Morocco, Qatar, Jordan, Syria and Egypt, as well as the finest treats from Turkey.
For how grand an affair it is, the iftar buffet is reasonably priced at 180 QAR per person. It’s an ideal event for families with little childrenbecause of the favourable kids’ policy. Children up to 5 years old eat for free, while 6 to 12 year olds get a 50% discount.
Special rates for groups and prepaid bookings are available. (Iftar with prepaid booking is QAR 145 per person).
