The "Watan 2022" Exercise's field drills, which are conducted by the World Cup Security Committee, began on Sunday with the involvement of all relevant military and civil authorities as well as troops from friendly and kindred nations.

Exercises are scheduled to last until October 27. The field exercises that were conducted covered a variety of specialized duties in every part of the nation as well as the execution of the deployment strategy to finish all the exercises and trainings.

All the authorities engaged in the exercise were prepared well before the exercise began, according to Staff Col. Mubarak Sherida Al Kaabi, the exercise's director, after the plans and execution procedures were examined in light of the established scenarios. The exercise saw the activation of operation rooms at the level of all participating parties, such as Public Security, Tournament Security, and civic authorities, as soon as the start signal was given. All parties completed their missions fully.

Operations were transferred to alternative operating rooms, the deployment plan was activated, and a number of scenarios were put into action on the ground. These scenarios simulate a number of plans and assumptions that call for emergency plans to be activated in response to different organizational and security events.

The examples used today demonstrated how important it is to coordinate your efforts, integrate your responsibilities, be ready, give a fast reaction, and act quickly to handle issues that arise in several locations and under various circumstances.

Staff Col. Mubarak Sherida Al-Kaabi stated, "In order to strengthen the role of the relevant authorities while carrying out their regular and additional tasks during the World Cup tournament, to confirm the rapidity of response to emergency situations, to activate the command and control mechanism, and to foster cooperation between military and civilian entities, all military and civilian bodies involved in the exercise are eager to achieve its objectives."
