The Holy Month of Ramadan will be upon us very soon.  

To allow citizens and residents of Qatar, who celebrate this blessed month, spend more time in worship, devotion, and prayers, and truly immerse in the spirit of the month, Qatar has been reducing work hours for employees.

Today, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced the working hours for the Medical Commission and the birth registration offices during the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1442 AH. 

The official working hours of the Medical Commission will from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Birth registration offices will receive requests for registration and issuance of birth certificates for newborns from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm in the morning hours and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the evening hours at Women's Health and Research Center, Sidra Medicine, and Al-Ahli Hospital. 

Al Khor Hospital, Al-Emadi Hospital, and Doha Clinic Hospital will receive requests for registration and issuance of birth certificates for newborns from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm only.

Visitors can complete the procedures for registering a birth certificate electronically through the ministry's website.

The Human Services Office (Death Unit) will operate from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Earlier today, the Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi issued a circular specifying the working hours for ministries, government agencies, and public bodies and institutions.
