0.00 QARDoha hosts the 9th World Investment Forum 2026 from 25 to 27 October at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel. Organised by UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and hosted in partnership with the State of Qatar, the forum brings together ministers, senior government officials, investors, business leaders, sovereign wealth funds, international organisations and development institutions from around the world.
Held under the theme "Investing in the Future", the forum will explore how global investment can respond to economic fragmentation, technological change and emerging development priorities. The programme features more than 70 sessions and high-level dialogues, with 211 speakers across seven thematic tracks covering artificial intelligence, critical minerals, energy, infrastructure, sustainable finance, tourism and culture, investment policy, entrepreneurship and emerging opportunities such as the space economy.
Participants can join high-level plenaries, ministerial roundtables and specialist discussions, including sessions on the future of investment in the Gulf region, sustainable stock exchanges, investment promotion, AI infrastructure and climate-focused investment. The forum also provides opportunities to connect with policymakers, global investors and business leaders and explore investment opportunities across high-growth and emerging sectors.
The 2026 edition marks the World Investment Forum's return to Qatar 14 years after Doha hosted its third edition in 2012. Participation in World Investment Forum meetings is free, but advance registration is required through the official UN registration platform. Some programme sessions and side events are invitation only.
