Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra: An American in Paris

The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra presents the Qatar premiere of Gershwin’s An American in Paris at QNCC on 1 October. Conducted by two-time Opus Klassik winner Marcus Bosch, the evening begins with Stravinsky’s colourful The Firebird Suite, transporting audiences into a musical world inspired by Russian folklore.

Following the interval, the programme turns to George Gershwin with the energetic An American in Paris, followed by Catfish Row, the symphonic suite drawn from Porgy and Bess. The concert takes audiences across three contrasting musical worlds, making it one of the standout classical music events in Doha this October.
