HH The Amir issues Amiri Decree to reconstitute Qatar Investment Authority Board

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Amiri Decree No. 14 of 2026 to reconstitute the Board of Directors of the Qatar Investment Authority, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional governance and strategic oversight.

The decision stipulated that the Board of Directors of the Qatar Investment Authority be reconstituted, chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani as Vice Chairman, and with the following members:

  • His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari
  • His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi
  • His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani
  • His Excellency Mr. Nasser bin Ghanem Al Khulaifi
  • His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al Thawadi.

The decision stipulated that it be implemented and acted upon from the date of its issuance and that it be published in the Official Gazette.
