HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received well-wishers offering Eid Al-Adha greetings at the Lusail Palace on Wednesday, after Eid prayers.
Among those received by Sheikh Tamim were Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Shura Council Speaker HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.
Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers, undersecretaries of ministries, members of the Shura Council, and groups of citizens also gathered to convey their wishes on the occasion.
The reception was attended by Personal Representative of HH The Amir HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Eid Al Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) is the second major holiday in the Islamic calendar and is traditionally marked by prayers, family visits, and official gatherings.
