Ministry of Commerce and Industry cautions people against online fraud

Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has drawn the public’s attention to the importance of verifying the authenticity of electronic links related to the ministry’s official website and the Single Window Platform.

The ministry advised users not to access links received from untrusted sources or through search engine results without first verifying the link’s authenticity. This will help prevent online fraud and protect the security of personal information and data, the ministry said.
