Tasweer to Mark World Photography Day and Announce 2026 Award Winners

Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar will celebrate World Photography Day on August 19 with a special gathering at Fire Station Cinema in Doha.

Running from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the event will bring the photography community together to celebrate photography, creativity and the voices behind the images.

As part of the evening, Tasweer will officially announce the 2026 winners of the Tasweer Award for Photographic Projects and the Tasweer Award for Single Image, recognising selected photographic work from this year’s submissions.

The announcement ceremony will take place in person at Fire Station Cinema and will also be broadcast live through Tasweer’s social media channels, allowing audiences outside the venue to follow the celebration.
