The 2025 Sports for All summer camp, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, is going on full steam ahead at the Lusail Sports Hall, as well as in different youth centers, sports clubs, gyms, swimming pools, playgrounds, and public parks around the country.

The camp is being held in cooperation with several ministries, public bodies, and institutions in the country.

The summer camp at the Lusail Sports Hall, which runs every day from Sunday to Thursday, for ages 6 to 11, includes a variety of programs including speed and strength training, recreational games, mini-football matches, Muay Thai self-defense training, stretching, flexibility, and balance exercises, muscle strengthening, and table tennis.

The camp also offers training in skating, curling and water-sports — sailing and kayaking — as well as pole-control skills. It also features an introduction to the importance of healthy eating, educational workshops, religious lessons, and traffic awareness seminars, all aimed at developing knowledge and promoting positive behavior among children.

Qatar Sports for All Federation’s Executive Director Abdullah Al Dosari said the summer camp, currently in its second week at the Lusail Sports Hall, has seen a remarkable turnout.

“We’ve had more than 700 boys and girls participating in the camp since its launch. This reflects the growing awareness among community members of the importance of exercising for children and the need to utilize their summer vacation to promote physical activity and positive behavior. They will also benefit from group activities,” he said.

Al Dosari said the summer camp also represented a good opportunity for children to benefit from quality activities that contribute to making the most of their free time, developing their skills, and instilling the concept of exercising as one of the foundations of community building.

The summer camp is supported by Qatar’s Ministry of Youth and Sports. All programmes created by the Sports for All Federation are aimed at creating a promising generation that enjoys health, knowledge, and positive behaviour.

The second phase of the camp will begin at the Lusail Sports Hall on July 13. Those who wish to register their children for the camp, which runs until July 24, can do so via the QSFA mobile app.
